While visiting Frisco why don’t you grab some food on the Top 10 Restaurants and Diners around Frisco Texas?
Here is your Top 10 List!
1. Hutchins BBQ – Barbeque, Desserts
David K. – “Yes. Omg. What? Wonderful, just wonderful. We ordered takeout from this place last night. It’s about 20 minutes out of the way for us, but even with the slightly cooled meat, it was amazing. I can’t begin to explain how good this place is. The brisket is fatty and the bark is tangy and salty. The turkey is almost like ham in its fullness of flavor. The sausage is juicy and the casing is not chewy or stringy (something that I have not been able to say about BBQ sausage in forever). The mac and cheese have a very deep, buttery flavor. Just an excellent BBQ.
A caveat is, yes, it is expensive. We paid about $60 for two. But you’d spend the same at a sushi buffet, and probably not get the same quality or amount of food. We ate until we were stuffed, but still had half the sides and a quarter of the meat leftover (enough meat for another full meal for one). I can’t recommend this place enough.” 5 Stars

2. Platia Greek Kouzina – Greek, Desserts
Mysti E. – “It’s really hard for me to write this review while hungry. Platia delivers on all levels… service, price, and TASTE! I always get the gyro plate because I like making tiny gyro bites with all the goods that come with the plate… call me crazy but it’s just fun! Don’t forget the green beans, Greek potatoes, and I order the Lima beans too. Hubbs gets the gyro sandwich and is done eating in 1/2 the time I am (remember… little tiny gyro bites)
When we crave gyros, there’s no other place we go… now please excuse me while I pick up my food to go (covid19 can’t even keep me away!).” – 5 Stars

Leland V. – “I love coming to eat at this establishment when in town for work! Great whole tasting and clean food. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very relaxing and comfortable to enjoy every aspect of one’s dining experience. I must recommend the Powerbowl or the Avocado Bomb!
Thanks for the tasty treat! Until next time.” – 5 Stars

4. Kenny’s Burger Joint – Frisco – Burgers
Sabrina H. – “Great food, better service. Other restaurants should look to Kenny’s on how to handle curbside and to-go orders. Friendly smiling faces each and every time. The food is so tasty.
Even when I ordered from the wrong location they were incredibly gracious and took care of replacing the order for me. So kind.
Taco, the manager, sat with us one evening just to know his customers. Even when they have messed up on an order I didn’t even care because they are always so nice. They know how to hire servers who have a passion for customer service.
Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. If you want a great burger to come here. The fries and fried pickles are great also. The onion rings are huge and so golden.” – 5 Stars

5. The Nest Cafe – Coffee & Tea, Breakfast & Brunch, Waffles
Genie B. – “Wonderful cafe with friendly staff and very delicious food. I had the cowboy Benedict with breakfast potatoes and all the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. My grandmother had drip coffee and the nest breakfast with a pancake. My grandmother said the coffee was good and strong. She also said the fruit was fresh and very tasty. We both enjoyed our breakfast and it was good to find another breakfast spot for us to enjoy together.
All the tables were spaced apart and the staff all wore masks, to make it COVID friendly. Everything was very clean in the restaurant and they brought you drinks and handled any refills themselves.
The staff checked on us a few times during our meal and made sure we had what we needed. Great place and we will be back many times over!” – 5 Stars

6. Summer Moon Coffee – Coffee & Tea, Coffee Roasteries
Jacqueline T. – “Summer Moon was the very first local coffee shop I visited in all of TX. That was back in May when all ordering was outside in their awesome back patio area. They had an awesome set up for COVID then and they still do now, as they have opened their shop back up so guests can go in. Earlier in the week, I decided to take my mom and sister to see the rail district in Frisco square so we could actually order and sit inside to get the full experience. Their Blue Moon is amazing, but this time I was all about that dirty spiced chai with oat milk. They have vegan and GF goods, as well as other tasty treats. The shop itself is super cute and the staff is incredibly nice!” – 5 Stars

7. The Aussie Grind – Cafes, Australian, Breakfast & Brunch
Valerie M. – “Ordered through delivery for lunch while I was at work and I think it tasted better today than the first time… and don’t get me wrong I lOVED my first visit here! I ordered the fish n chips and my tummy could not be happier! It’s breaded in a puffy soft piece of heaven unlike anything else I’ve tasted. By far the best out there! Their tartar sauce is probably just as, if not, even more, obsess worthy than the fish. It’s lemony and delicious and I only wish I had more of it. Everyone must try this!!!” – 5 Stars

Sabina C. – “Yum! The food here is really good, hearty and healthy! I love that they have vegetarian and vegan options as well. The patio area is nice for those of us not quite ready to dine indoors.
The service was great! The staff was really welcoming! Really appreciated the gal who took our order, she walked us through the menu since it was our first time!
I didn’t have the Nitro but I was happy to see they have Nitro for a lesser cost than Starbucks. I will need to try that out next time.
Will definitely come back!” – 5 Stars

9. Babe’s Chicken Dinner House – Chicken Shop
Andre Anna T. – “I called so many restaurants on Mother’s Day, and everyone’s wait time was 2 hours or more. I decided to give Babe’s a try. I’ve always been a fan of Babe’s, but I’ve never tested their to-go service. Since they had the shortest wait time out of the restaurants I called, I decided to order.
Like most restaurants at this time, they’re offering curbside pickup. When I arrived to collect my order, I immediately recognized how organized everything was. All staff members wore protective masks and gloves, and they were very efficient in bringing the orders out. I was very impressed by this.
My food was neatly placed in the box and it was warm and absolutely delicious! Until things get better with Covid-19, I strongly recommend giving Babe’s to-go a try! Great food, great service!” – 5 Stars
