Mansfield is mostly located in Tarrant county, with small parts in Ellis and Johnson counties. The estimated population in 2020 is 73,550.

Already one of the state’s oldest continuing downtown areas, Historic Downtown Mansfield remains the heartbeat of the city. Today, the Historic Downtown has retained its charm and is undergoing a renaissance. With restaurants, shops, the restore Farr Best Theater, Flying Squirrel Coffee Shop, and more, Downtown Mansfield is home to several city festivals and special events. You can also find the LOT Downtown, which is a nonprofit and an incredible outdoor music venue. The LOT hosts many events, concerts, and family activities.

Outdoor enthusiasts are drawn to the city’s many parks and trails, including Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park and the Linear Trail. The Mansfield National Golf Club is found at the nearby Joe Pool Lake. There are also two Major League replica fields – Big League Dreams and FieldhouseUSA host tournaments and other activities all year. Hawaiian Falls Water Park is home to many slides and wave pools for fun in the sun.

There are many annual events for residents and their families to look forward to in Mansfield-

January brings the annual Snowman Run- the community walk along the trails at Walnut Creek Linear Park, and a health fair, as well as a 5K run.

March sees the annual Pickle Parade and Palooza in historic downtown Mansfield. This includes 5 and 10K runs, a Kids Fun Run, and the “World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade, which is a huge event for all!

Rockin’ 4th of July has become a favorite among residents and visitors alike. Gathering at Big League Dreams Sports Park to celebrate Independence Day with food, family entertainment, live music and fireworks.
