ARLINGTON, TEXAS
Located in Tarrant County, Arlington is the seventh most populated city in the state of Texas. According the the U.S. Census 2019 estimates, the city had a population of 398,854, so we can only imagine that number has grown.
Arlington is home to the University of Texas at Arlington, Globe Life Field and the Texas Rangers, AT&T Stadium and the Dallas Cowboys, as well as College Park Center and the Dallas Wings. Arlington has tons of entertainment to offer with Six Flags over Texas and Hurricane Harbor making their home there as well.
The new Texas Live! complex is a one-stop entertainment shop with over 35,000 sqft of restaurants, dance floors, and shops. It is located in close vicinity to Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium.
For the art lovers, the Arlington Museum of Art proudly hosts excellent traveling exhibits that you don’t want to miss. The Gallery at UTA on University of Texas at Arlington campus highlights many regional and national shows, as well as work from the outstanding Glasswork program at the school, along with other incredible student works.
Foodies will find Arlington to be a hot spot with many different areas around town to find the best grub. Downtown Arlington is home to places like JR Bentley’s English Pub, Babe’s Chicken Dinner House, and Namoo Korean Bowl. In the Shopping District, you can find Chamas do Brazil, Rose Garden Tea Room, and El Pollo Loco. Head to the Entertainment District for Social House, Omi Korean Grill and Bar, and Mariano’s Mexican Restaurant.
