Here are the Top 10 Restaurant and Diner in Dallas Texas!

1. Pecan Lodge – Sandwiches, Barbeque

Morris H. – “I am glad that they were still offering to take out, but I really wish that I could have sat down to eat at the restaurant. It seems like a very cool place in a very cool part of downtown Dallas
So I can definitely say that I was craving bbq so bad that my eyes were bigger than my stomach.
I definitely wanted to try the beef ribs. I am so glad that the guy behind the counter talked me down from that ledge. All anyone needs are one beef rib at this place. It is a kind of meat. I don’t know what possessed me to add the three meat sampler to the beef rib which was pork ribs, brisket, and a sausage link. I also added a side of collard greens which tasted great
The meat was tender and well seasoned. I love to slather the meat with bbq sauce but this meat didn’t need it. The flavor was so good without it.” 5 Stars

2. Velvet Taco Knox – American (New), Tacos, Breakfast & Brunch

Diego E. – “Velvet Taco is a clever concept… Sure, they sell tacos but they are far from your traditional taco joint. Velvet is also significantly pricier than your traditional taco joint, but I don’t mean for that to take away from their consistently awesome product.
A creative spin on tacos, also, during pre-COVID, or more normal times, Velvet is also a staple late-night hang. You’ll find many people coming here for a late-night meal after they’ve left a club, sporting event, or simply people that want a late-night munch.
Some suggestions… DO NOT go into this place expecting to place an order without waiting in line. It is known to be quite busy, with lines out the door. If you want your food quicker, the Velvet Taco app is pretty handy and can ensure your meal ticket goes through as soon as you’ve placed it. Usually within 15-30 mins, even during busy times, they’ll have your order ready.
My personal favorite is either the #3 Spicy Tikka or the #12 Angus Brisket, two fairly popular selections. They constantly add new specials though and have the ability to modify the items within the taco if you have preferences or some sort of allergy.” 5 Stars

3. Maple Leaf Diner – American (Traditional), Breakfast & Brunch, Diners

Robin L – “We drove 30 minutes from our hotel to eat here. It did not disappoint! The food was so darn yummy! Get the cream puffs! Yes, this was breakfast…do it anyway! They take the covid warning seriously.  Spacing between tables…wiping tables..and masks. Get the home fries! Thick slabs of potatoes..nothing fake here! Toast looks like it would be heavy but it was so light and the jam was yum! Fantastic service! We will be back!” 5 Stars

4. Uchi – Japanese, Sushi Bars, Seafood

Mindy T. – “Our experience at Uchi was worth every penny. Dining in felt very safe during COVID. The food was spectacular and very unique. I don’t think I can find a dupe or something similar anywhere else. My favorite was the hamachi, it was so good I ordered two portions via UberEats the day after because I was having dreams about it. The service was amazing with a complimentary valet and very attentive staff. Would definitely come again” 5 Stars

5. Meso Maya Comida y Copas – Mexican, New Mexican Cuisine

David S. – “This restaurant had been on our radar for quite some time now, and so we decided to give them a try yesterday.  Unfortunately, we didn’t dine in, but that didn’t matter because the dishes we ordered to go, were delicious!
This is not Tex-Mex, this is gourmet Mexican food and it is some of the best Mexican food I have eaten.  We tried the Queso Poblano and it was very creamy and very good.  We will be ordering that again for sure.  I had the Serrano Enchiladas and oh man!  They were great!  There was nothing heavy about this dish like some enchilada dishes can be.  This will probably be my go-to dish here.  The wife ordered the Pollo from the Budan Azteca side of the menu and she loved it, (no picture though).
I love the food that we ordered and our next visit will have to be a dine-in experience.” 5 Stars

6. Rodeo Goat – Burgers, Beer Bar

Mike F. – “Great place – my boss queued me into this place – he was in Dallas when everything was shut down for Covid-19
A few months later I had to go to Dallas and they were open.
Had a great burger, fries, and a couple of beers.  The young lady at the bar was very helpful – they did not have my normal beer but she found something similar that hit the spot.  The burger was great – juicy and flavorful and huge.  Fresh fries… very nice.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  Can’t wait to come back to Dallas to visit again!” 5 Stars

7. rise n°1 – French, Wine Bars, Desserts

Kamil B. – “5-star experience. This was my first time at a restaurant since Covid started and it was perfect. Everyone had masks, dividers between the tables on the patio, and lots of cleaning between guests. The salmon soufflé was so good. I have zero experience with soufflés so I have nothing to compare it to but I’d come back here for sure. The warm bread they bring out, in the beginning, was tasty. The escargot soufflé was garlicky, buttery, and delicious. First time eating snails! And I loved it. Can’t wait to come back here.” 5 Stars

8. Jimmy’s Food Store – Grocery, Sandwiches, Wine Tasting Room

Terri L. – “Mi Piace!!!  If you haven’t been to Jimmy’s you are missing out. Best Italian deli in the lower US!  Great prices, great selection but the staff and owners really make it the best. Have a sip of vino, enjoy a sandwich, finish it up with a shot of espresso!  Va bene!!” 5 Stars

You can find this place at 4901 Bryan St, Dallas, TX or you can call (214) 823-6180

9. Mike’s Chicken – Chicken Shop
Kristine L. – “Not sure who Mike is…. but would just like to thank him for blessing Dallas with the best crispy fried chicken in town! Their spicy fried chicken is the way to go. They serve Texas-sized fried chicken platters that crunch at first bite and melt in your mouth as you keep chomping away!
The best part (aside from the chicken of course) when you pick up your food they ask “sauce with that?”. And yes, that includes ranch!!! Or any other of the homemade sauces that they offer. And they don’t give you just one sauce for free.99, they give you 3!!” 5 Stars

You can find this place at 4234 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX or you can call (214) 443-7822

10.  Uncle Uber’s – Sandwiches, Burgers, Bars
Christina H. – “Welp, this was the best burger I have had in Dallas, Texas in all of my five years living here! It’s located in Deep Ellum, so the area is already eclectic. Stepping into Uncle Uber did not take away from the unique beauty on the outside. Inside was very woodsy and provided a cool, “Cheers” like atmosphere (I’m giving away my age). Before I get to the food, let me describe the service. The bartender took the order. I am upset with myself for not getting his name but I will go back just to let him know how awesome he was! We told him that it was our first time and the way he described the burgers made us say, “Let’s go for it!” The burger came in single, double, and maybe triple but I had a single. It was big enough. Per the bartender’s recommendation, I tried my burger with the normal fixings, goat cheese, and bacon. The fries were hand-cut and oh so good. The burger and fries were actually made from scratch. The meat was not a perfect, flat circle of meat. It was a thick and juicy burger, good to the last bite. I was full before my last 3 bites but couldn’t stop myself. If you buy a burger, you get a select shot or a beer for $4. Would I go back? Yes, indeed and I recommend you go too!” 5 Stars
