1. Rodeo Goat – Bars, Burgers
Lynne C. – “We ordered order burger take out and I got the Bodacious Burger with a beef patty and my husband got the Nanny goat burger with an Impossible patty. The food was ready super quick, the person who took our order on the phone was so friendly and patient as this was our first time ordering from them it took a bit to get our entrees just right. I was nervous about the grilled jalapeños and jalapeño aioli being too spicy so ended up getting it on the side. Oh. My. Gosh. I ended up only being able to eat half my burger it was HUGE and so dang filling! The bodacious burger really hit the spot and was so juicy and delicious — drooling thinking about it. So amazing, so local, and so fantastic. Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you’re able!” 5 Stars

2. Heim Barbecue – Barbeque
Cindy D. – “This is our go-to Barbecue spot when we’re in the area! Brisket is absolutely delicious and tender. Pork belly burnt ends are a MUST! And the twice baked potato salad.. to die for! The beef rib is super moist and flavorful. Sausage links are alright, they’re more on the spicy side. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the Mac and cheese, dry and unflavorful IMO. They have family meals which are a good deal. They also do the to-go ordering. There’s always a line for this place whether it’s dine-in or take out, but absolutely worth it!” 5 Stars

3. Velvet Taco Fort Worth – American (New), Tacos, Breakfast & Brunch
Tamee C. – “This place should be renamed, Heaven. Seriously. Me and my friend heard about this place from her boyfriend. She’s new to the area and I was visiting from SATX. They didn’t offer delivery so we decided to pick up. We had to make the drive worth our while so we ordered a ton of tacos and two elote cups.
I’ll post pictures but all I can say is this food was seriously good. They have so many choices and while they might not be your traditional tacos, they are delicious!
My friend literally had tears come to her eyes when she bit into the chicken and waffle one. Literally. I was too busy laughing at her to hear her exact words but I remember her saying something about the sweetness and the chicken together… She wanted me to taste it but I felt guilty about taking any of the delectable goodness from her. I had to make my way thru all four different tacos I had chosen! I’ll name all of our choices in the photo.
Needless to say, you have to give this place a try, I’m sure you won’t regret it!” 5 Stars

4. Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar – Sushi Bars
Hariong K. – “Just wanted to do a updated review after going today. This place has only gotten better. For my girlfriend and me, the Today Special Menu is all we need. Popular items (salmon belly, otoro, etc) tend to stay in place but the head chef always changes items around making each trip a little different than before. Like 3 weeks ago, we got to try wagyu beef but this time had some amazing Kenpachi with peppers and peaches (spicy and sweet). Even if handrolls are your goto, I highly recommend trying things on this menu. I posted some pics to show what we had today.
This place is my favorite sushi place in the DFW area. Super happy when this place opened back up. Even with covid-19, you feel safe as they have measures in place (staff wears masks, one seat empty between parties, friendly great staff that accommodate what you need). And I am glad they do this because this place seems to always be busy when we go. It really is worth the hype so check it out.” 5 Stars

Highly recommend the shiitake to me roll! My boyfriend also LOVED it and he eats meat/likes regular sushi! We also always get the shishito peppers which are amazing. Yesterday we also got the miso soup which was the only slightly disappointing addition to our meal. The miso soup is $4 but it’s very little and I don’t really think it’s worth $4! Otherwise a great meal, great place!” 5 Stars

The menu is full of great-sounding dishes.
We ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, The Best BBQ Sandwich & the Baked Potato Grilled Cheese with a starter of Jr Nachos.
Side note: Jr Nachos are big!
We all loved our food. Every sandwich was delicious.
We were stuffed after lunch.
Service was great & very accommodating.
We’ll be back for sure.” 5 Stars
